Discussing the Progression of my Art Style.

The Nythim art Style. At the end of the first year I made it my goal to get better at software like adobe illustrator during the break to further develop my skills, but also attempt to create a style that I could consistently work with and expand upon comfortably. Eventually I came up with a Minimal style that uses line art and minimal colour to create futuristic and cyberpunk inspired art. Majority if not all of my art in this style is posted on my Instagram account. Process and Production: Rotoscoping With Sara Nesteruk

Rotoscoping For this process and production workshop with Sara, we will be looking at rotoscoping and creating our own rotoscoped piece from a 1-2 second loop of footage, the loop will then be composed into a 10 second video.  Rotoscoping is a technique used by animators to trace over a motion footage frame by frame. This is an extremely time consuming technique so much so it will probably take the whole workshop session to produce a 1 second loop, however the outcomes can look amazing if you put enough time and effort into this technique. Rotoscoping is quite a popular technique used to create some really interesting music videos, Sara showed us one during class for 'Young the Giant, Something to Believe in' which featured a rather paint -esque appeal to it with a set colour palette. Motion North Manchester 2018.

Motion-Go and Motion North On Wednesdays after our process and production sessions, there is a motion graphics and animation club with Sara Nesturuk called 'Motion Go'. Anyone can attend and get involved with additional little side projects, experiment with Adobe Aftereffects as well as collaborate and share ideas, inspirations, critique and network with one another. Majority if not all of the Motion Go team are part of the Graphic Design and Animation course however there have been a couple of people from other courses such as illustration who have attended for a session or two to see what it's like. It would be nice if the club did expand a little bit and perhaps more students from our course popped their head in for a session but it can be considered as extra work load on top of the existing projects which is understandable.   Although I regularly attend the session i'm usually too busy documenting the process and production session prior onto blogger, this me...
